A Fortiori

By definition, "a fortiori" is used to express a conclusion for which there is stronger evidence than for a previously accepted one. Paul mentioned present benefits in the first few verses of chapter 5 and now moves to future benefits: a conclusion that's even more certain because of the premise it's based upon.

We are justified, but we will be saved from the coming wrath of God. We are reconciled to God and we have the future promise of being saved by His life!
