Love That Characterizes the Believer

The child of God will manifest the love of God to others. This love is generated by the Spirit of God and is described in Scripture as being a love of the will rather than being driven and in response to feelings. This love is shown back toward God by means of obedience to His revealed Word. In His revealed Word there are instructions to, and how to love other people. This makes the believers responsibility to love highly significant, a demonstration of living in submission to the Spirit of God, and unconditioned by what the other person says or does. This love is a testimony to the unbeliever and needful in God's family for harmony, support, and the care each one is to show to all others.
