Diversity within Unity

We can often struggle to find a balance between unity and diversity, between the emphasis on the whole Church and an emphasis on the individual. Ephesians 4:7-13 helps us walk the tightrope between the two. We see that diversity should be celebrated – Christ gave diverse gifts to his people when he ascended and this should be reflected in the life of the Church. The whole point of this diversity, however, is to strengthen unity.
