The Whole Armor of God IV

13

Beloved, we do not wrestle with flesh and blood, but our conflict must sometimes involve flesh and blood, for Satan does not come in his own face. Even Peter spoke for the devil when he tried to persuade Jesus from going to Jerusalem. Jesus rebuked Peter, saying, “Get thee behind me, Satan.” The Lord did not disown Peter, nor abandon him because of his unrighteous words, but reproved him sharply as we also have been commanded to do.
