2 Biblical Theologian: The cure for pride

Anyebwile's book "What is a Healthy Church Member."

This series seeks to go beyond just the lectures
found in his book, but to also address common
afflictions that can devestate a person's faith.

A healthy church member will be able to work through
what would otherwise be detrimental situations.

This week: Biblicla theology is the cure for pride.

1. What is pride and why is it bad?
   -It seeks to dethrone God and enthrone self.

2. What is true humility?
   -It is an attitude of the heart that makes much of Christ instead of self.

3)What is a biblical theologian?
-"Theology Proper" is the study of God.
-thus Biblical Theology is the study of God based upon His self revelation of His character and work especially revealed in Jesus Christ.

4)Why is a biblical theologian humble?
-John Flavel said, "They that know God will be humble, and they that know themselves cannot be proud."
