Deep Teaching on Genesis 6. This is probably the most comprehensive teaching on this

Pastor Chronister starts out with a chuckle... as I recall, he was pontificating on football with someone in the congregation. I believe it was regarding New England, but you probably don't really care about that so I'll just try sticking to the sermon from here on out.
OK, the sermon starts... well really, the actual sermon will start much later when pastor is done catching us up on where he left off last Sunday, but he starts off telling us about the 4 most common positions that are held regarding the Nephilim, or the giants if you will, in Genesis 6. You know... the part where the sons of God saw the daughters of men and took wives of all which they chose. And he talks about all the questions he raises that he does not seem to answer. Pastor argues that he does answer them... he just answers them in the sermon you missed because you've been skipping around in your listening. You see, only the most holy of you are listening to all of pastor's sermons, and so it is only the most holy of you that will get all the answers. OK that was just for fun.
Pastor says he always wonders what the first time visitor thinks when they come in and hear a comprehensive discussion on Genesis 6.
So as the actual sermon starts pastor gets much deeper into the discussion of these angles that took wives and the conditions of the people at the time before the flood, and what was it that made God greave in His heart that He had made man. And pastor goes all over the Bible to bring in many of the relating passages, some of which you may not have considered. Trust me when I say, you'll find this a fascinating lecture.
