A Daughter's Faith Rewarded

I want to press upon you from this passage that the gospel message is a message of great mercy to all sinners everywhere. It is the message which proclaims that the person who has the kind of faith that will spiritually come up and touch the hem of Jesus’ garment, convinced that they can be healed of the greatest of their afflictions, their sin; shall indeed know the reality of Christ’s power, working this miracle in their soul. It is saving faith which I will speak to you about this morning. Saving faith in exercise will deliver you immediately from the reigning power of sin in your soul. We want to look at this woman’s faith and to see 1st of all – that her faith in the earthly physicians was disappointed. 2nd – That her faith in Jesus consisted of a secret touch. 3rd – That Jesus perceived her secretive touch. And 4th – That Jesus commends her faith in order to her being made well.
