Praying

Prayer is an intimate part of the child of God. It is a holy art that we must approach with fear and trepidation. More than ever, prayer today is abused with many in the church, although they mean well. It is easy to offer up prayers not pleasing to God due to lack of knowledge on prayer. Prayer is the chief part of thankfulness for our salvation. It is an inherent part of the church of God. All of our good works come out of the heart in our new beginning. We must remember this as we approach the Lord in prayer. It is our way to draw close to the Lord and dwell in His fellowship. From this perspective, the end goal of prayer is to give God glory and ask for strength to do so in all of our living, always giving our self to Him and that His will be done.
