TULIP - Unconditional Election

Many who claim the name of Christ deny the doctrine of election. Others regard it as a doctrine that we should not dwell upon. In stark contrast, the scriptures deal with the electing, sovereign love of God who covenanted to save his people out of fallen humanity. How can we turn a blind eye to election when it is spoken of so frequently by David, Peter, Paul and the Lord Jesus Christ? Indeed if we understand the nature of man's condition after the fall, we realize that it is only through the electing love of a covenant-keeping God that any will be saved.
