Worship - Its Components Pt 5 [Supplication in Prayer]

We are returning again this sabbath morning to our studies in worship and particularly to the subject of supplication in prayer as part of worship. There are four aspects to prayer that we can easily define, Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving and Supplication.

All true prayer must eventually climax with supplication. This is the whole purpose of praying in the first place. We come to God to ask something from God.

Within this study of supplication in prayer we have outlined four areas which can cover what we are to ask God for in prayer. We are to pray for:

1. Ourselves; 2. The Church of Jesus Christ; 3. Society at large; 4. Our enemies.
