Colossians 3 - Part 8 - Freedom from Slavery God's Way

This is a study of the sins we are to put to death in our bodies since we died with Christ to these things. It is because of these things that the wrath of God is going to come on this earth. So, like a garment, we are to rest in the truth of what God has done, and on the basis of our new life in Christ, lay aside the deeds of the flesh or old man. Here we look at laying aside the sins of malice, slander, and abusive speech. Since we have been set free from the Old Man through the death of Christ, we are to no longer act as slaves, but are to render service to our risen Lord to Whom we have been united forever.
