Praise the Lord for the Work His Word Performs in You

This passage is here to encourage the saint that his suffering as a result of accepting the Word of God is evidence of a true faith; but those rejecting the Word of God will themselves be rejected by God! Therefore, let us not be discouraged when the world rejects, mocks or persecutes us as if something odd were happening, but rejoice that we are the Lord's!
