The Believer's Work and Doctrine

For several weeks now, Pastor Simpson has preached through 1 Timothy chapter four and five placing an emphasis on the behavior of the church and pastor, but now we begin closing out the book of 1 Timothy with chapter six. This morning's message placed an emphasis on the believer's work and his doctrine. The Scriptures instruct us to obey the masters that God has set over us, whether he/she is a believer or not. We are told to live and worship according to godliness, and the Apostle Paul tells us what Godliness is in verse four. Let the Scriptures provide the instruction we all need to obey our Lord and His Word.
