Peter's Final Words

Often the most important words that one says are spoken at the end of a person's life. Now I am not saying that these final words from 2 Peter were spoken from his deathbed or right before his martyrdom. But these are the final words of Peter that we have. If we remember anything, these are the words that especially we should keep in mind. They speak to each one of us, no matter how long we have been following Christ. Wherever we are in terms of our growth in Christian maturity these final words of Peter speak to us - Continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
In these final five verses, Peter gives 4 commands: 1) Be diligent, 2) Consider, 3) Beware, and 4) Grow. We will look at these final verses by focusing on these 4 commands.
