James 4 and 2014

In this last message of 2013, we look at the words of James concerning knowing the will of God. First, we look at the danger of Presumption. To presume to take for granted, assume, or suppose. Sometimes we live as scoffers, not we are scoffers, but live like, 2nd Peter 3:3,4 We live like things are going to continue like they always have. Do we always know the Lord's will? Do we consider it? Where does this text mention we should know the Lord's will? In the area of buying and selling in a certain town. We also look at the Lord's will as far as the timing of life. It is a vapor. This means we should live with purpose. Let's always remember, the will of God determines all which happens. Next, we see how presumption is evil. It is evil because boasting. It is a disregard for God. Boasting derived from wandering or roaming, a vagabond. Finally, we look at the fact that not following this path is sin, verse 17. We look at quotes from pastors in years gone by to express our point. We conclude, what will be your outlook for 2014? Maybe if we consider this, our outlook and prospect if we look from this view.
