Live Here in Reverent Fear

Perhaps you've heard the parody of an old hymn: "Free from the law, O happy condition; Now I can sin and still have remission!" Philip Bliss did not write those words, and he undoubtedly would not approve them, but many who profess Christ today live as though the categories of sin and holiness are no longer relevant. Obedience is seen as legalism, and the fear of God is relegated to the landfill with other worn out and discarded items. What does it mean to live here in reverent fear?
