Excellence and Practice of Love

When the Lord builds a marriage and a home and a family, the love of Christ is always present. Without this, all is lost. You can put up a half-million dollar house, mom and dad can take the family to church, they can make great sacrifices for their children in respect to education and activities. They can even be quite active in Christian ministries and all of it can be as nothing. Why? Because the love of Christ was not present in that home, in the hearts of those people living there. The entire thing can be nothing more than an extension of self and the worship of the idols of self.
