In the Beginning was God

As we commence a new year, many have thoughts of starting afresh with improved diets, more exercise, or other New Year Resolutions. It is a good thing to trn over a new leaf, and start afresh, having considered the error of our ways. Indeed, the Gospel is based upon the necessity of repenting of our sin and unbelief, and making a fresh and believing start with the God, through the Lord Jesus Christ - all of which are an evidence of the supernatural rebirth in the soul. All created things have their beginning. For the account of the creation, we should immediately consult the record that the Creator Himself had written down in Genesis chapters 1 and 2. In fact, the first 11 chapters of Genesis lay down reliable and historical truths of Who made us, and what happened to mankind since. Let us start at the most fundamental truth of all, that "In the Beginning was God":
