Do Not Be Afraid

Revelation chapter 1 brings to us the whole interpretation, purpose and content of this letter to the churches. Many details about the tribulations the church will experience are revealed. These describe the generic experiences of the church until Christ returns. These things are normal. We should not be shocked. But we ought to be comforted to know who is orchestrating it and that He is with His Church through it all. These verses explain what Jesus is like in shepherding His church through the church age. There is no reason to be afraid.
