Support The Troops! (Be A Man Part 3)
I Text:
4As I was in the days of my youth, when the secret of God [was] upon my tabernacle;

5When the Almighty [was] yet with me, [when] my children [were] about me;

6When I washed my steps with butter, and the rock poured me out rivers of oil;

7When I went out to the gate through the city, [when] I prepared my seat in the street!
II Doctrine:
Job continues to recall the days when God’s grace was upon him. Job was a perfect testament of the power of a mature faith. The pattern for Dominion shown throughout Scripture starts to take shape in this text. The foundation for Spiritual dominion is Jesus Christ. This was followed by Job applying Christ’s commands in every sphere of his life. Job governed himself, Marriage, Family, and community life according to God’s Word commands.
III Reasons:

1. Nature itself shows all structures beginning with a foundation or nucleus. Creation attests to God’s existence and nature. (Romans 1:20)
   2 The family model is God’s nucleus for dominion. (Genesis 2:18)
2. Men and families who cannot govern themselves according to God’s word are slaves already. The physical chains come later. (Hosea 4:1-7)
   IV Application:
3. The pattern for true Christian dominion starts with a Man following God’s commands. (Ephesians 5:8-21)
4. Husbands exemplify these principles in marriage. (Ephesians 5:22-33)
5. Fathers apply these principles in raising children. (Ephesians 6:1-4)
