Paul's Teaching on Spiritual Gifts

Ignorance and confusion regarding the right understanding and use of spiritual gifts was causing problems in the Corinthian church. Paul therefore writes to attempt to set them right regarding the use of these gifts and to deal with errors regarding why the gifts were given and how they are distributed. Regrettably, despite Paul's excellent instructions, we still see these same errors being repeated in the church today.

The sermon also includes a brief explanation of some of the major differences between the miraculous gifts of the Spirit given to the church in the Apostolic age and what sometimes happens in Pentecostal and Charismatic churches today.
