Israel's Failure

1. They failed to heed God's correction (v. 2a).
2. They failed to trust in God (v. 2b).
3. Their leaders failed the people (vv. 3, 4).
4. They failed to learn from God's acts in history (vv. 6, 7).

Three Things We Learn About God

1. God does no wrong (v. 5)
2. God does not delight in judgment (vv. 6, 7).
3. God alone will create a holy people (vv. 9-13).
