Pergamos was a beautiful place to live; but, it was a dangerous place to live. That is, if you dared name the name of Jesus Christ. The pastor, Antipas, was martyred because he wouldn't say Caesar is Lord but said Christ is Lord. To the faithful ones Jesus promised spiritual sustenance and spiritual fellowship, which the world could not know.
