No Gain, All in Vain?

Why do we feel so bad when we have it so good? It is because we have a God-shaped hole in our hearts which cannot be filled by any created thing, only by our Creator. Godlessness is marked by emptiness, meaninglessness and loneliness. But in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, we gain significance, security and deep satisfaction of soul. There is simply no hope without God.
