Elijah - Part 9 - Comparing Yourself with Others

One of the indicators of Elijah's wrong thinking is that instead of trusting the Lord he fled at the threat of Jezebel. This is a study of some of the things that reveal that we are leaving the path that God has set before us. Elijah fell into the trap of comparing himself with his fathers. Since he did not think God had put his fathers in a place similar to the one he was in, he thought it was more than could be expected of Him. But since all our adequacy comes from the Lord He can call on us to do anything He strengthens us to be able to do.
