Corrupt Church

Jesus knows the works of the church in Thyatira. Their works are their love, service, faith, and patience (perseverance, endurance).

Additionally, the Lord Jesus knows their last works are more than their first works. The history of the church proved that it had grown in producing spiritual fruit in their midst. This is opposite of the church at Ephesus and of many churches today. Usually, churches begin to wane in spiritual fruit as they get older. The love, service, faith, and patience is missing in many older churches. Nevertheless, He has something against this corrupt church.
