Accepting Blame

This text may seem unlikely to preach on, especially when we limit it to Sarai response. There is much history surrounding the context and Abram and Sarai show many failures in the Old Testament, but yet they are listed as heros of faith. From the failures of Abram and Sarai and the interplay between them we consider how we must rightully accept our blame when we fall short. There is a deep principle in this story for us. You and I need to own our sin and fall at the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is only in this way that we experience the forgiveness of God's grace and receive the peace that passes all understanding.
