Isaiah #11

In Isaiah 44 God denounces idols and idol makers in order to assure that He will deliver His people from the Babylonian masters. The power of these idolaters is no match for God. He will accomplish the release of His people to enable them to serve Him. So it is that God has wrought a greater deliverance for His people through Jesus Christ. God through Jesus Christ delivers His people from the world, the devil, and even their own sin, so that they may serve Him in liberty and righteousness.
