Good revival, now what?

We had a good revival recently, it was a good three days of worship. But if that is all that it was then why did we have it? It would be nothing more than a special get together with no lasting results. The whole point of having a revival is to have lasting results. In our text we see a revival as it was beginning. It too was a much needed revival and lasting results were required of it. If we are to see the church grow we must begin to build in the here and now and not wait for the next great movement. These Jews went from being “no-people” because of their past defeat and exile to seeing themselves once again as God's people thanks to revival.
