Positional Sanctification

• When you think about Sanctification what do you normally think about?

• The word means to be set apart

• Points to a process of development (progressive)

• The Bible does not refer to the process (progressive
  sanctification) very many times but to positional sanctification.

• Acts 20:32, 1 Corinthians 1:2, 6:11

The believer has an unchanging status or position before the Lord God that never changes.

We are Saints who have been set apart to God once for all. It is true of every believer.

Our position in Christ is the greatest incentive for living the Christian life.
