Prayer for Jesus

Psalm 72 is prophetic of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Verse 15 Prayer for Jesus that He will prevail and build His church.
This is the noblest prayer that man can make. This delivers us from great selfishness in prayer. This gives us fervour in prayer and great encouragement. Pray He will have all success at the end, and we shall know closer communion with Him.
We should pray:
. He will speed His gospel into all the Earth.
. He will gain victory over Satan in men's hearts.
. His church will flourish and increase daily as He fulfils His promises and builds His church.
. The ordinances He has set up in the church will be blessed to His people.
. His people will grow in holiness.
. For the unity, peace and survival of His church.
. For His coming again.
Jesus is worthy of our praise because:
. of His original glory.
. He became incarnate to save us through His death.
. He is “far above rubies”, precious to so many.
. He is better, lovelier, more kind and good than any other.
. He loves us and left the glory of God to descend here to save us.
. He rose again and ascended.
. He draws near to us spiritually with blessing.
Daily shall He be praised.
