I. Jeremiah 9:12-16, 23-26:
A. The great importance – knowing God

B. The content of this knowledge

II. John 17:1-8:
A. True knowledge comes through Jesus Christ alone.

B. God takes the initiative.

III. Philippians 3:7-11:
A. We can know much about God and godliness and
yet not know God.

B. Paul's great ambition/concern is to know God.
