Satan, Why Did You Pick A Snake? Would Adam have been fooled by a snake?

1,366

One of the questions Pastor Chronister starts us out with is, Why did Satan pick a snake to deceive Eve. And, would he have used a dog if he was trying to fool Adam? Interesting questions, but that, of course, is not the thrust of the sermon, as is often the case here at Cliffside. The main sermon has to do with the intriguing comparison of the questions God asks Eve and the questions God later asks Cain. The questions are almost identical, but the answers and God's responses are quite different. Of course, God would easily win at Jeopardy, 'cause he knows all the answers. Do you think He asks these questions because He doesn't know the answers? Did He know you would be reading the questions?
But Cain was murderously angry. Why? The discussion that ensues will be of great interest and benefit to you. Of course that's a biased statement. As I have said before, the only thing we can guarantee about any of Pastor Chronister's sermons is that you might not like it. And of course, if you do happen to like our pastor's sermons then we can deduce one thing... you're most assuredly weird like us. Speaking of weird, pastor also brings up Lilith. Google it if you don't know what Lilith is all about. Yes, we are weird here. This is defiantly not your typical Baptist Church. We love hour long lectures here.
So... let's just open our text book and suffer through another long lecture. Trust me, you'll like it.
