Paid in Full in Advance

The salvation of God's elect was planned and purposed before time began. (II Tim.1:9) Time is the unfolding of God's eternal plan.
This eternal plan also included time. Eternal salvation includes time salvation for God's elect. All the blessings of God for His people was planned by the Eternal Godhead and paid for by the death of Jesus Christ. There are no works we can do to secure those blessings, they will come to us according to God's purpose.
