The Apostle's Creed - The Great Conception

The Apostle's Creed included the great affirmation of how Jesus came into the world. The Virgin Mary's conception highlights to us the supernatural character of the Christian faith. God, through the agency of the Holy Spirit, with sovereign freedom, did that which was above and beyond nature.

Secondly, the Virgin Mary's miraculous conception is a sign of the identity of Jesus Christ as God's new man, the second Adam. A second Adam was necessary because of what happened in the first. With the first Adam came original sin, but with the second Adam God provided a Saviour.

The question is, will you accept the second Adam, and trust Him as your Saviour too?
