The spiritual requirements for officers are essentially the same, and do not constitute a different kind of spirituality or Christianity. Officers are to model true Christianity for all the people of God. They are to be blameless, friendly and disciplined, seasoned with experience and knowledge, plain and simple men who are truly dedicated wholly to the service of Christ in the church. They are not to seek their own agenda, but must be faithful in serving the people of God.
