The title of today’s sermon is Came to be King. In v37 Jesus states that He was born or that He came into the world to be King. In this passage, Jesus explains what kind of king He is so our goal today is to understand 4 truths about King Jesus.
Understanding King Jesus:
- For now, His Kingdom is spiritual, not physical – v36
- He reigns/saves through proclamation of the truth (Gospel) (Kingdom grows through the Gospel) – v37a
3)Citizens of His Kingdom are those who believe & submit to the truth –v37b - Jesus will come again to rule as King!
