A Call To Heart Religion

Nearly a hundred years after the building of the post exilic Temple, God sent Malachi to this people. The faith and zeal of the earlier returned exiles were gone. The people had lapsed into a heartless complacency and externalism. Malachi's ministry was purposed to call an indifferent people to repentance and to restore heart religion and true spirituality. The book is surveyed and particular attention is focused upon chapter one and its relevance to new covenant worshippers. Further, husbands are directed to Malachi's warnings in chapter 2.
