The Cross: Revelation of the Savior & Salvation

The cross is the revelation of God's Savior of sinners ("the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ") and the cross is the revelation and accomplishment of God's solitary way of salvation. By the cross a perfect obedience was wrought, sin and guilt were dismissed, wrath was averted, release from sin's penalty and power was effected and peace was established.
