Do Not Grieve the Spirit

“Grieve” means to sorrow, to be
uneasy, to be offended. Just as Christ wept over the city of Jerusalem and
was often upset over the sins of men as He was on this earth, so the new man
in you which is the work of the Holy Spirit, is grieved when you walk in the
flesh and live in the sins of the flesh.
