The Purpose of the Lord

Revelation 13 declares that the beast is allowed to make war on the saints and to overcome them. This anti-Christian entity is given governing authority over the earth. Does such an entity already exist? Yes, and the system contrived frees people form all religious prejudice and cultivates social virtues, eliminating all obstacles to universal happiness in a state of liberty and moral equity. Based on human wisdom, it establishes a philosophy of humanism that has not need for God, establishing man as his own god. Paul, however, asserts from Isaiah 29 that God intends to destroy this wisdom through what the worldly wise consider folly.
