The Light of the World

It can be discouraging to see the darkness descending on our country. And there is a concerted effort to push Christianity out of the public square and confine it within the four walls of the church. Here in South Florida recently, there was a public park that had a festival of lights at Christmastime. Yet they seemed to go out of their way to make sure it was all politically correct---no manger scenes, no wise men, no Christ.

Yet Jesus is the very cause for the celebration! Thankfully, there are indeed bold Christians who have not been cowed. Later in this program, you’ll meet a Christian who is making an enormous difference for Christ in our nation’s capital. And we interview an unapologetic Christian who is fighting for truth in the halls of power in Congress.
