Celebrating Victory:Three Warnings

After presenting the church glorified and secure in heaven with the Lamb on Mt. Zion, John is given a vision of three angels with a warning to those who sit on the earth.

The first angel announces that the hour of God's judgment has come. This is the final hour. There is a brief time to hope for His salvation. Fear God, give Him glory, and worship Him.

The second angel announces that all earthly hope of security and happiness is gone. This angel introduces us to Babylon the Great but announces that Babylon is fallen. Worldly hope has failed.

The third angel announces the fate of all who are drunk on the whore's wine; all who worship the beast and bear his mark must now drink the wine of God's wrath, poured out without mercy into the cup of His anger.

Hell is real and all who reject Christ will be tormented forever in fire and brimstone.

However, the saints are encouraged to endure and persevere because they will soon enter God's Sabbath rest forever.
