Living Between Two Appearings

As Christians we are seeking to live godly lives in the present age, but to do that we must remember what happened in the past. Jesus Christ, our great God and Savior appeared to give Himself for us. Then we must think on a future appearing, of a time when Jesus Christ will appear again in His return. These truths matters to us as believers, who live between these two great appearings. As we think on them, we will all the more seek to be “self-controlled” and to “adorn the doctrine of God our Savior” as Paul tells the church in the book of Titus.
