He Is Near to Hear

"The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth. He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He also will hear their cry and save them." (Psalm 145:18–19, NKJV)

One great quality that reflects godliness is the ability to really listen to people. Of course, listening isn't simply passive. Godly listeners are active. They listen and then move to meet needs out of the resources God supplies for them.

Many times we listen and are unable to meet a need. It is beyond our ability. The only One who is able is God. He is omnipotent and works for our benefit tirelessly. We are able to call upon Him whenever and wherever we choose to do so. All of us are able to go to Him.
