Although the Jewish people have rejected Jesus as their Messiah, and their leaders seek to kill Him - Jesus' heart is broken over their unbelief. And in His humanity He wanted nothing more than to bring them under His wings and protect them from the judgment to come. Here we see the heart of Jesus - the heart of the people - and finally the judgment of Jesus.
