Mephibosheth: Sovereign Grace Found A Way

David said, "I will surely show you [Mephibosheth] kindness for Jonathon thy father's sake" (2 Samuel 9:7). We see the the Doctrine of Substitution. It declares, Christ entered into the room and place of His people to bear their sin and just condemnation. Then, for that cause and due to the completeness of it, God forgave, redeemed, reconciled and justified all for whom Christ died.
