Holding Fast When All Looks Hopeless

Satan will sometimes show us the wickedness of the world in order to discourage us. The world has abandoned God and the wicked are prevailing. Sin is everywhere and the wicked are winning. Circumstances are too far gone. What's the use of pressing on? Sometimes our circumstances seem so overwhelming that we want to quit, to abandon faith. Here we see the holy determination of the Psalmist.
