A Warning to Christians: Do not be arrogant

In Romans 11:16-24 Paul uses the illustration of the cultivated olive tree (Israel) and the wild olive tree (the Gentiles) to explain how God has grafted Gentiles into the root of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. At the same time Paul gives a stern warning to Gentile Christians, "do not be arrogant" toward the Jews. It is by their misfortune that salvation has come to the Gentiles. This message explores this illustration.
