Job Part 1 (The trials of Job)

INTRO: Welcome to the book of Job. I remind us of that which we well know, that the book of Job is an OT book. I view the OT, as arranged in our English Bibles, as falling into three large sections; the historical section which takes us from Genesis to the book of Job. The book of Job begins what I call the practical section, and this section has 5 books: Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes and the Song of Solomon. Following this is the prophetical section. If that division is correct, the book of Job then is a book that deals with practical, day to day life. It is instructive in our every day lives.
